over here in the UK alot of the 328s I see for sale state the engine was replaced under BMW warranty, never knew the extent of this nikasil issues were so bad here. Just check out www.autotrader.co.uk , search for 328 and quite a few state engine swap.

liners. US models had the liners and are very reliable.
