So far I have installed an ERT chip, which is a direct replacement chip. Your old chip comes right out, it is not soldered, and the performance chip plugs in. The most popular chip on this board is the Jim Conforti brand but their all pretty much the same, Dinan, Auto Authority, Active Autoworks, Korman, Turner. I also have a Dinan big bore throttle body, inverted cone filter, and Genie exhaust. In the Dinan catalog, I have, their similar mods put out 165 bhp, and that's with out the filter (Throttle body, chip and exhaust only). Other bolt on mods include cams, About $1,200-$1,400 installed, performance differential, About $1,700 installed (which won't increase hp but will quicken acceleration). Your best bet it to save for a Downing Atlanta Supercharger about $3,800 installed (200+ hp). If you have any more questions post them and I will try to help you.
