I have already done the H&R racing springs and Bilstein sport shocks... it handles great!

I was wondering if any of you would know how to get some more HP out of the 4cyl 1.8l engine in the 1992 318i. I have already done the BMP Design high flow racing intake with a K&N filter. I was thinking of putting a chip in, but I have heard that the chip is soldered to the board in my ECU vs being in a socket. Any advice on chips for my car would be welcome. I also am considering a TriFlow exhaust. Other than a supercharger, which is out of my 'bolt-on' price range... what else can be done to get more out of that engine?

SUSPENSION: WITH THAT ADDITIONAL HP DO NOT FORGET TO UPGRADE THE SUSPENSION COMPONENTS. I'VE GOT A 95 318IC AND HAVE BEEN ADDING USED STUFF FROM THE M3 GUYS UPGRADING. GOOD PRICES ON GREAT STUFF TO HANDLE HP. CURRENTLY IVE ONLY DONE THE K&N FILTER. I MAY LATER DO A CHIP AND EXHAUST AND T. BODY. GOOD LUCK
