I recently asked the Tire Rack guys for the 4 lightest 17x8 E36 wheels that they have. Here's what they said:

-BBS RK 16.5 lbs
-BBS RC 17.5 lbs
-SSR GT1 17.5 lbs
-SSR Integral 18.0 lbs

Of this group the BBS RK's are the lightest and the least expensive. I plan to buy new wheels for my car in the next couple of weeks and I'm going with the BBS RK's.

Hope this helps.

All:

I'm getting ready to upgrade to 17s on my 95 325i. I'm starting to realize that wheel weight is important, and the two that appear to be the best value are the BBS RK and the SSR Integral? Does anyone have any comments/pics on these? Which one's do you think look better ?

Personally, I like Breyton Softlines, but have heard they're very heavy..

Thanks.
