on E46 325, the Nav display fits in the center dash area, replacing the radio/climate controls.

THEREFORE, the climate controls must be moved to the lower part of the dash, just behind the shift selector.

Because the "new" standard climate controls are MANUAL, not automatic, and

because the manual controls will not fit in the space behind the shift selector,

in order to get the Nav system you MUST have the automatic climate controls (digital display/buttons instead of dials)...

AND....

the only way to get the automatic climate controls on the 325 is by ordering the Premium Package!

How's that for BMWNA marketing at its best!!!?!?
