All the neighborhood cats seem to love to sleep on my car. They leave their damn footprints all over and even scratch the paint. So I bought a cheap car cover from Target for 30 bucks. It isn't water proof but at least it helps with stuff like cats, sap and dirt. At first its a pain in the ass to use, but you eventually get good at taking it on and off. It only takes me 30 seconds to put it on now. If you roll it on and off a certainn way, you can keep the dirt from getting underneath the cover. It certainly does help keep the car clean.
