Normal 3 series side moldings stick out too far, may be hard to paint. Get M3 side moldings, then paint them. They look good. I'm considering painting mine on my '95 M3 even though my car is black. I want my side moldings to be glossy black.

I am sick of trying to maintain the trim moulding on my '98 328iS. I saw an M3 today, and the owner had them painted to match the car. Very slick. Anyone know how this is done (aka do I need special moulding to get painted, etc). It gives the car such a nice, slick look.
