Next time take their license plate number down and document the time, place, direction of travel, previous encounters with this individual, description of the vehicle, and definitely, the license plate number. If your car is unique, and you take pride in its appearance, don't antagonize them. Most likely they will be able to pick your car out in a crowded parking lot faster than you theirs. Retaliation is fun, but as stated in other peoples' posts, it can and will have severe ramifications.

If this occurs a second time with the same vehicle or with the same driver, report it to the authorities and provide them with the detailed information that you have been keeping. I hate to think that one should result to including the authorities, but if you are in personal danger and your siblings as well, then appropriate measures should be taken.

This individual's anger stems from something beyond your documented situation, so I would think back in your past to see if you may have cut this individual off or sped through his neighborhood, then all he is doing is being reactive to a past situation...
