Gotta love F1 huh? I've been to the Canadian GP a bunch of times now, and once (my #1 racing memory) to the Belgian GP at Spa -- there's just something special about F1.

CART is pretty cool too (enjoyed this past Molson Indy) but somehow it's not as awe inspiring as F1. Eddie Cheever said it best on some interview I saw the other day: If you want to see the best human beings can do with cars, go to an F1 race.

I was curious how those used to the constant passing in CART/IRL would react to the F1 near-procession - I'm glad to hear the sheer technological spectacle of it made up for the lack of "action".

Went to the F1 race at INDY (3hrs away)-TOTALLY INCREDIBLE!The speed these cars carry into the turns was unbeliveable. Braking-you would think they hit a teather like F16's landing on a carrier-I mean, stop NOW. And the sound-my god it HURT-particularly the Mclarens (Mika and David)-take a dentist's drill, combine it with a chain saw and crank it up. Nothing like CART or IRL. I understand now why these guys make 30million/year and they are considered the Best drivers in the world. Too bad the BMW's didn't finish better. If you have the chance to go and are a racing fan, GO!!
