Ran my first auto-x today, what a blast !!! (archive)

The BMW CCA LA chapter had an autocross today at Santa Anita. It was my first time in one of these events. WOW! What fun! Everyone should get to do one of these at least once. They are fun and really informative on how good (or bad) a driver you really are.

There were lots of E36 & E30 M3 running aound as well as M-coupes and and M roadsters. I Think I was the only E36 325is out there today. I did well, I didn't embarrass myself out there, and finally put to use all the mods I did to my car.

If you have a chance to go to one of these, I highly recommend it, you'll be a better, more humble driver and you'll see just how good your car is.
