17" wheels question?? (archive)

I was thinking of getting some ADR wheels, the M-Classic, and i was just wondering if these are good rims. I was talking to my friend and he siad that they would bend if i went over a speed bump because they are such a horrible brand. Does anyone know anything about this. Also any recomendations for 17"tires
