the switch is easy to dismantle, just pull it out of the console and clip it out of the switch surround. Use a wide bladed non-sharp knife and gently prise open one side of the switch, then do the otherside, at this point the two metal spring slips become lose so be careful not to lose them.

A friend of mine has a digital camera so hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to post some pics of what it looks like and what you have to do internally.

Mine also went but I replaced them with blue LED's. You have to trim the top off of the LED to get them to fit and also put a resistor inline but they will never blow and the blue looks quite cool and surprisingly not out of place.

I tried replacing the bulbs in my window switches, but I couldn't seem to get to them. Do I need to replace the whole switch? Thanks!
