Use any flat thing like a knife to lift up the whole frame, then pop the switch out of the frame. Use your finger nail to spry off the switch cover, there are 2, one on each side. Becareful now because some tinny plastic mechanism in the switch might fall off and you can't find it.
Miles must be a very handy man. I tried to use LED (diot) but it require a resister and there is NO WAY I can add anything else inside that tinny switch, therefore I ended up using bulbs again. But no problem for almost 2 years now :)

Is it hard to take the switch apart without little parts shooting in the air?

Chris

Mine also went but I replaced them with blue LED's. You have to trim the top off of the LED to get them to fit and also put a resistor inline but they will never blow and the blue looks quite cool and surprisingly not out of place.

I tried replacing the bulbs in my window switches, but I couldn't seem to get to them. Do I need to replace the whole switch? Thanks!
