I don't know about newer cars but on older E36 if you turn on low beam, the outter lights come on. If you turn on high beam, The inner light comes on. And I think all the stock U.S are the same.


I live in Vancouver and i just put in my superwhites the other day. What i noticed is that if i turn no lights on then the inside 55w headlights come on(daytime running lights). Then if i turn the headlights on it switches to the outside 65w lights. Then if i turn the high beams on then all 4 come on. Is this the same in the US?
