i just got these new 18" chrome rims, but since it's star shaped you can see inside to the rotors and brakes. i never knew that it was that rusty? how do i clean them? other than getting new rotors? is there any way i can prevent them from rusting again after i clean them? thanks for your help.

I presume you mean the part of the rotor that is squeezed by the caliper......................
Just drive around the block and they will be clean
they naturaly do this there made of steel

And never put a cleaning product on them and never ever put a lubricant on them or you will have no braking at all
