I don't think the warning light differentiates whether it's the front brakes or the rear breaks that need to be looked at. However, front brakes usually wear out first. But, if someone previously replaced them the sensor could be indicating that the rear brakes need replacing. If I was you I would go ahead and check them all and probably replace them all. Please note that you will need to buy a new sensor for the front and rear.


I had the brake sensor light come on. there are 2 different lights, which one is for the front or rear.
