hey thanks for remembering. But guess what, ok I had told you that the dealership tech. adjusted my windows supposedly because they had too much tension, and they concluded that's why they were stopping on the way up.

Guess what, about a week ago, a NEW problem....Now, almost everytime my driver's side window goes up, a very 'scary' load clunking noise comes from somewhere inside the door panel.. the first time it happened, I thought the window was about to break for Pete's sake...

Do you think it's still because of the motor?

about a window problem you had.I found out the answer.There is a hull switch in the motor,the switch cannot be replaced.In other words you have to replace the motor.Vines has the motors brand new from bmw for 92.00 shipped,instead of 189.00 from the dealer.
