Hi, I just had my E36 deliverd by car carrier, and they have done some damage. Does anyone know what the name is for the rod which attaches from the centre of the car some where to the bottom of the strut mounts. They used this to tie down the car and have bent it causing the rear wheel to turn inwards. Also they drove the car with the parking brake on and now they are jammed on. In the front there is what seems to be a sensor. It is a long prong coming out of the same loom as the drivers side headlight connections and I cant find where it goes. The bottom of the radiator sensor is in place, so its not that. The car computer says low coolant level when I start the car, so I am wondering if it has something to do with that. What else, oh yeah how do you put those foglights in. The driver side one was left dangling and they cracked the lens, I followed the owners manual to take the other one out to see how it goes in, and crack!!!!, some bits of plastic came flying, so now that one wont go in either. I suppose my main concern right now is that rod and how can I get the shows on the parking brakes to release. Anyone know of a good mechanic in Portland Oregon,
Thanks for listening
