You should've got one with a reclining feature.
Don't worry, it's normal for the the rear baby seat to be flimsy though.

OK.. not a performance question, but it's still important =)

We just had a new baby yesterday and our rear facing car seat that we already have doesn't fit too well in my 1996 328is. Anyone know of any rear facing seats that either are designed for an E36 or fit very well in an E36?

Ours has three problems - 1) The bucket seat makes us have to use both the center belt and a shoulder belt to hold it in steady, 2) When it is held in it is at a slight angle, and 3) The front seat has to be pretty far forward to handle the car seat behind it.

Any solutions are appreciated.
