if you have lots of money like DuckMuck, you can buy the Piaa or Colg xenon kits that come with an H1 size bulb so you just slap the new bulbs into place, mount the ballast somewhere, and you're done - no cutting required.

otherwise, you can buy the generic philips or osram d2s bulb and ballast. but to get these to fit into the euro headlight, you have to do a little work to the headlight so that it will accept the larger bulb diameter. it is very straight forward - no tricks involved. just open up the hole, and secure the d2s bulb with one or two self-tapping screws and all done. difference between these generic kits is just who makes the bulb and ballast. most are philips, some kits will have an osram bulb.
