My 97 328iS is making many squeeking sounds as I stop and at high speeds the steering wheel shakes if I hit the brakes, what exactly needs to be done?

It is probably your break rotors need to be turned........But at a 97 thats pretty uncommon so Im not really sure. Look at your break rotors and if they are glossy looking or really shiny and they have little ridges on them, that is an indication that they should be turned. Im not sure about the squeaking, does it do it when you are rolling to a parking lot without your breaks because if that is the case, you need to have your wheel bearings checked or you might have dust or mud or sand in you break calipers. Hope this helps. Email me if you have more questsions.
