rotors are probably warped. I had the same problem with my 95 325 replaced the rotors and pads and bingo absoluely smooth as can be!

My 97 328iS is making many squeeking sounds as I stop and at high speeds the steering wheel shakes if I hit the brakes, what exactly needs to be done?
