No problem! One thing about the Z8, when I was watching it on the highway I realized that BMW went after a much more old-world, timeless look than most of the supercars currently available. All I could think while watching the guy get down was "Damn, it works, it really does work, much more so on the road than sitting at a show or in a magazine."
The car does not have the visual impact of a Modena, but has it all over the Ferrari for those interested in more inconspicuous consumption. The Z8: $200,000+ of pure innocuous understatement, or until the driver sees fit to drop the hammer on that V8.
Would I buy one? No. I wouldn't even consider it for the money. Now that I've had a chance to appreciate the car on the road, though, I do understand why some people just have to have the car.

Again, thanks so much for letting us see the pictures.
Looking around.
Viper. Wow.
M3. Very nice. Starting to look like S4's though. Interesting problem. Now that aerodynamics are always a part of the package, it's getting harder to look different. I want one anyway.
Z8. Very cool to see one on the highway. For that kind of money, I'm thinking it should be a little more "wow." I think I would by a used F355 or Lamborgini first. But, I don't think I'll ever have to worry about that decision!
What a time. Finally got to see the E46 M3, walking up to it I was so excited you would have thought the Pope was in town. See the link below for pics and videos for those that couldn't make it.
The real treat was the drive home, the coolest guy in a blue Z8 was kind enough to show his baby off, and we caught it on "film." (floppy). Nice to see someone actually driving their car for a change.
This link is posted on the M3 board too, and the last time I did this I used all of my available bandwidth for the month in about two hours, so get there soon and enjoy. Also, some of the photos of the E46 M3 are huge, so be forwarned. Enjoy.
