My '94 325i was squeaking down by the clutch pedal. It drove me nuts.

I took the lower dash panel off and gave a good squirt of WD-40 on the moving parts. Be sure to put a couple of old towels under the dash to catch drips.

It worked 100% for me, no more squeaks at all. Now I just have to get under there again to fix the brake light switch that is tripping the brake circuit fault on the OBC...

I took my car in to get serviced and told the guys to take care of my squeeky clutch. They called me back and said that the noise was coming from inside the bell housing and that they would need to drop the transmission which would be expensive. Does anyone know what the squeek might be coming from and if so how much should the repair cost. They made it seem like it was extremely urgent and the clutch could fail if I did not take care of it soon. Please Help!

Thanks
