Now that its winter time and the temperature is below 35 degrees, my engine makes a ticking sound when the engine is cold. After I drive for about 5 miles the sound goes away. Whats the problem??? I havea 92 318is with 104,000 on it and this is my first winter with it.

That option is standard on all bmw's(were lucky) babybluebmr 21:38 12/03/2000 (1)
- tried to get mine w/o that option..it was standard mike 23:23 12/03/2000 (0)
