Hello all, this is my first post. The other day I looked at a 1997 BMW 318ti with my dad. Man that car is sharp. It had 55k, sports package, and a sunroof. It looked to be in great shape. I was wondering if you guys felt this is a good car for a 16 year old? If not, why? Please give your comments/opinions/personal experiences with this car. Thanks a lot for your time. My other option would be a 01 vw golf (but after seeing the BMW i don't think I want any other car). Thanks for your time, Brett

I would hold out for an earlier 325i, like a 94 or 95, you wont regret it.
