Is per visit, rather than per item you want them to fix. So, if you have some little thing broken, you can wait until you get a few of 'em or until something serious is wrong. For example, i have the gas-tank-reading empty weirdness, my dash lights have flickered periodically, and my parking brake seems to need adjustment--pulling it all the way up when the car is driving seems to do much less than it should. Sometime later, i'll have it all fixed for $50, along with any other problems that crop up. My plan is to be really picky, so i hit 100K miles with as perfect a car as possible, then take it to a quarter mil or so. And, actually, any car still in original bumper-to-bumper qualifies, so up to 50K miles works.
