Do you have to wait for a check engine light to get any info? I am currently trying the blik method (turn on key, push the throttle down 5 times within 5 seconds and wait for the check engine light to flash the fault codes). Unfortunately nothing ever flashes. My car doesn't run and I still don't get any flashes. I am thinking of getting the reader to help me diagnose this problem that has me stumped.

Chris

I have one. Works great on both my 95 325i and 96 m3.It will read all the codes from 87 on.

For OBD1? I am thinking of getting a Peak research reader. Your thoughts.

Chris
