On my US stock light, I took my car to a dark road and adjusted the beam as far as it can go, and the farthest end of the beam is still visible on the road. Then asked someone to drive my car behind me to see if it's ok (not to blind people driving in front of you). I would do the same on any kind of head light.
Just an opinion.

Does anybody have simple, plain english instructions on how to aim ellipsoid headlights? I did an archive search and found nothing particularly useful. I just installed my lights, and I'm fucking dying right now. Lights look awesome, just the aim is off. Any help is useful right now.

Oh btw, I hooked up my city lights so that the parking lamp is now ONLY te turn signal. This works fine on the passenger side, but on the driver's side the parking lamp is still on. What did I do wrong? Forgive me if it's a stupid question, but I've used far too many brain cells today

TIA,
