I had my PIAA's H1 Superplamsas for about couple of months and the freakin thing shut down on me. I paid 105 out the door, and the stock lighting is totally better. I also have the ellipsiod lights. When I took the H1 bulbs out of the ellipsiods the metal was changing colors from silver to blue to black. I was like WTF!!!!
Anyways, that's my side of the storry.

maybe you bought too high of a wattage that your wiring harness can handle, that is why it turned different colors.
