My 94 325i with 80k suddenly would not start. I have been looking at both the fuel and ignition system. I have verified that the fuel pump runs and I smell gas when I crank the engine. On the ignition I have verified the ignition coils have voltage and the correct coil resistance. The spark plugs look good but are a little wet with gas. I checked the crank speed sensor and determined that the sensor coil resistance is 500 ohms. My manual says it should be 1280 +/-10%. Any idea if I'm on the right track? Is this a common item to fail.
