I didnt go for subs etc as i didnt want to sacrifice any boot space, so i went with an amp and some 6x9's.

My head unit is an Sony cdx4000r.
I have a 2x150 amp and some JVC 6x9s (120w)

The 6x9s are attached via special adaptors into the existing Nokia speaker locations.

I am currently upgrading my 6x9s to either new 6x9s or 7x10s.

What does it sound like? Incredable! Poeple think i have a sub in the boot at times
