318ti dies out while driving (archive)

In my '95 318ti club sport power will just drop off to nothing or start bucking as you're driving. If you slam the pedal to the floor it will pick back up.
It has also stalled a couple of times while I was sitting in traffic. I am thinking throttle position sensor, but before I just go and replace it I figured I'd
ask. I tried to check the archives but the search feature is down. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
