Listen to me. I own a '96 318ti. It runs great. YOu know how cause I always take it the the local BMW dealership. TRUST me. Take it no where else. I would rather spend the extra 100 bucks on the dealer than else where. I promise you they will fix your problem and have you running back as new again in no time at all.. good luck
