but they are pretty pricey for the sound they provide. There are better solutions for small spaces like small box subs. I believe kicker competition's are now small box. If you get a 10" one of these in a standard sealed box (or build the box yourself, it's fairly easy), it'll take more power, take up less space, sound better, and probably cost less. The disadvantage is that it will be less efficient. The biggest problem with the bass tubes is, that although they have a fairly small volume, because of their awkward shape they take up a lot of space.

Now Im looking to install a system in my 318ti. Are bass tubes good? The reason why I ask is because I dont have a lot of money and I dont want to give up a lot of trunk space. PLEASE HELP...
