somewhere in there you will glaze your clutch and burn up disc lining. then your syncros on your tranny will go. eventually, you will tear your diff from the chassis and may in the process destroy your drive shaft and rear axles.

i'm being serious too. 5k dumps are too much. 3k is more like it, but still stupid if you do it often.

what does dropping a clutch at 5k means, is it depressing clutch and changing to lower gear. i also tend have my engine slow me down from 40 mph to 30 mph by changing from 4th to 3rd gear but never in higher speeds;; is this bad for the engine, diff, ranny etc.
