Help: Overspray paint speckles...... (archive)

I bought my brother's 92 318is off him 2 months ago. I revently noticed that there are tons of tiny white paint speckles all over the car, which is black. This happened when my bro was painting shutters on his house(I know, I know). The spots are all over the car and my windshied. Any ideas? I think paint thinner should get it off the windows, but what about my paint? Thanks.
