I have the exact same problem. Dealer service techs could not find out what the prob was though. Email me if you find anything.


During the last week I have noticed a burning like smell emitting inside the cabin only when the heating is switched on,this doesnt occur all the time just intermittantly if the fan is on and the heat off then no smell,but if the heat is on then the smell appears sometimes what can this be? Heater valve? common problem? Mines a 94 318is.
