Thanks to everybody who helped me out with this over the last couple days. Overall I'd say it took about 6 hrs of actual work. The spring compressors I rented wouldn't let me compress the spring enough so I had the local Midas brake shop swap the springs and struts onto the old spring pad and mounting plate. Only $80, and since that was the "dangerous" part of the install I figured why not let the pros do it. They were kinda perplexed when I walked in carrying old and new struts. So, all this cost $700 (springs, struts, tax and shipping) from Eric at SSP, $80 for new rear shock mounts and misc hardware from the stealer, and the $80 at Midas for an overall cost of $860. Not too shabby. I'll report more on the ride/handling when it gets dry out.
