Hmmm. So 3.45 might be a good compromise. Did you install the diff yourself? Was it difficult?

I'm thinkin of a 3:45. what did you use?


I got a 3.91 off a automatic 94 325i from a junkyard. 3.91 is pretty extreme, but it's like adding NOS to your car, but cheaper. It rev's kinda high on the highway. I'm at 3700rpm at 70mph. Unless you do alot of highway driving, it's worth it. Acceleration is incredible.



If you look under the car, the diff bolts right on. The problem is that it is really heavy. I did'nt want the hassle so i just gave my mechanic $100 bucks to do it. I think he overcharged me.
