its nothing like a flat out aftermarket exhaust....but it is a little throatier....and sounds like it flows more (as weird as that seems). if you're not going for anything loud....but still wanna hear something without giving that flatulant farting sound that your stock 325/8 exhaust is giving you....m3 exhaust is the way to go. hope this helps
