My car had passed smog inspection in CA with a chip and exhaust installed before. My question is, if I add an ECIS intake to the car, would I have to remove it for the next inspection? Or it'll pass without a problem? Since I haven't bought the intake yet. I am still debating if I should just take out the baffles from the stock airbox, which currently uses a K & N filter or shell out $200 for the ECIS. Which method will give me the best sound/performance? Any opinions? Thanks
