It's loud. But the sound is sweeeeeet.
Sound is very race car. There were a couple BMW's I saw/heard up close at the 24 hours of Daytona that were not as loud as the Mozart. They were like SS loud.
This recording was made with a high quality mic. that was 18" (parallel) from the tips. The high pitched crackling is due to overmodulation of the recording device.
I plan on making better recordings soon. Including ones during driving.
