problem with convertible top rear lid (archive)

When I put the top down the rear lid will not close with the top. HoLo 325 gave my the suggerstion for resycning the top. This did lower the lid but when I put the top dowm the lid will still not go down with top. I can hear the motors working and the lid is not broken because the lid goes down when the top is put up it only doesn't close when you put the top down. The only other thing I notice that is unusual is the top falls down in the rear when the top is put up It use to still partially open until I locked it in place.

Any help would be appreicated.
