well... my understanding is that a bolt on item like that would push our cars to 325i power. an extra 15-20kw in conjunction with a chip and air filter. my assumptions only for the time being. im hunting around for a 328 manifold at the moment. another thing is, m52 motors can be stroked to 3.0l by using the m54 crank and rods. get a new set of pistons, get the ports matchported and get some head work done, up the compression a little and get a new computer or piggyback a computer to the existing one and u will have one nice e36. all theory at the moment until i find the parts. but have been told by many a people that the m54 engine parts are bolt in items.
