What are the best brands for spark plugs, wires, cap/rotar?? Can you also recommend a place to buy that won't kill me in price. I just bought this car and can use all the advise that I can get.


Jonas, I'm a ASE Certified technician and have been working on BMW's for over 10 years, the advise you have gotten is good, except only replace your coils if you have an engine miss that is caused by your igntion system. We carry the Bosch and NGK Spark Plugs at $5.08 and $4.83 respectively (Compared to $6.87 and $15.17 respectively at our local dealer.) If in fact you do need an Ignition Coil we have Beru
at $49.95. (Compared to $67.00 at the dealer).Chris
