98 328i a few problems (archive)

I have a 98 328i and there are a few problems I hope people can help me with. the first is the A/M button for the trans does not switch from the M position. Second, the lock switch on the center console does not work. Third, the heated seat for the passenger does not work. Maybe all three of these are caused by the same problem or maybe not. Any help you may have would be appreciated. I know a good manual would help. I do have one on order. I just want to fix these problems sooner rather than later.
