OK, be4 I respond, where the heck do you go around making claims that "manhood" has anything to do with operating tools or fixing a car? Seriously, I took you for a pretty sharp guy.

If you MUST know, yes, I can operate a screwdriver and a plethora of other tools, although the use is limited to fixing minor jobs the wife wants me to do. However, I love my car TOO MUCH to put my less "manly" and inexperienced hands on my car.

And believe me you can imagine how much I hate my parents for not letting me learn car skills when I was young. Nah, instead they locked me in my room, made me study, go to college, grad school, and get a cushy career. I mean I REALLY hate them for that, knowing that there are other people I know who did the exact same thing I did AND know their way around a car. And Im sure you're one of them. ;)

So perhaps you should keep in mind that most "men" do not have the time, nor the inclination (not to mention a lift) to replace an exhaust themselves.

On that note...

I guess I have to "splain" it to you. You could have several of them go "bad" before you have spent the same money on a new system.

Well, I guess for you its not a problem. But for me, and like 80% of BMW owners, one replacement is enough.

Money and time to replace an exhaust? Obviously you couldn't operate a screw driver. It's a DIY job and it takes an hour max. Replacement cost for a real man? Free.

I think I explained this one.

Buying over the internet? Everything so far for me. Just get pics of the merchandise, and a phone number (which you call and verify before handing over money). I've always bought from people who I've seen on the board for a while, and can tell their demeaner. Avoid Jimmy's Xenon bulbs and folks selling mirrors without brackets.

LOL. Even from the dealer??
