About the mirror thing, maybe you did have a mirror break off. I wouldn't be hard to do, I've almost done it myself several times squeezing my bike past the car in my little garage. But, in defense of my many BMW friends who've had their mirrors stolen, almost everybody looking for just the brackets have "hot" mirrors.

BTW, why isn't your pampered ass over in the M3 board where it belongs?

I usuall post there. But as a former 318 owner, I feel justified in coming here and having my say, particularly if someone asks a question I can help answer. Grow up.
