Vehicle: Stock 1996 328is Coupe

I am going to be putting this computer (PII 450, 384mb ram, 60gb hdd) in my car soon. I have written software so that it will play MP3s by voice recognition commands, not just back/forward/skip album etc, but by saying a songs name or part of its name, album name, or genre. Other possibilities are using it as a DVD player and getting a TV tuner card for it.

Powering the computer itself should not prove too difficult. A 300 watt DC to AC inversion unit off of the battery in the trunk should do.

But here's the dilemma. I'd love to use the CD changer plug in the back to connect the audio output from the computer sound card into. This way, I could select the CD changer as the source on my existing factory stereo and hear the computer. But which wires are what on that connector? Needed are R/L audio. This connector, I assume is just behind the carpeting to your left as you look into the trunk? It seems labelled so. The less desirable option is a FM Modulator.

Then, I'll need a way to send video to the front for a mini composite video LCD screen. This is probably most easily done with a RF modulator, however I may hardwire it and use a real computer LCD monitor, as I just found an excellent deal on one (they are much sharper in picture, too). The computer monitor is 12v DC luckily, but does anyone know of a good power source for it up front?

A few details are.. how could I get that AC inverter to turn off when I turn the engine off? Getting into the trunk every time I turn the car off would be a pain. Are there power sources in the front which'd automatically power down the LCD screen when the primary electrical system shut down?

Lots of questions, but if you can answer even one of them, it's appreciated greatly!

The computer should be fully concealed, so not too worried about that - the LCD will be a little tougher to hide.
